Position size calculator
Size a crypto or FX position from your account balance, your risk rule, your entry and your stop. See the units to buy, what you lose if the stop is hit, and the position against your account.
How the numbers are worked out
Every input is yours: the account balance, the risk percentage, the entry price and the stop price. Nothing is fetched from an exchange. The amount at risk is account × risk ÷ 100. The distance to the stop is |entry − stop|. Units are the amount at risk divided by that distance, so a tighter stop means a bigger position for the same risk. The notional value is units × entry, and the multiple is notional ÷ account. A stop below the entry is a long position; a stop above it is a short. For FX the account is held in the pair's quote currency (for USDJPY, yen), and every figure is in that currency. A standard lot is 100,000 units, so lots are units ÷ 100,000; crypto returns no lot figure.
The percentages assume your stop is where you actually exit. Slippage and fees are not included.
Build this as your own app
Tell Younna your account size, the share of it you risk on one trade and where you set stops. It builds a personal app that sizes every entry you plan against that rule, keeps your open positions beside it and tells you when a plan would break the rule.
Younna never places trades.
