Options profit calculator
Work out the payoff at expiry, the maximum profit and loss and the break-even for a single option or a common spread, from your strikes, your premiums and how many contracts you hold.
How the numbers are worked out
Every input is yours: the strategy, its strikes, the premiums, the contract count and the underlying price you expect at expiry. Nothing is fetched from an exchange. Each contract covers 100 shares. A call's intrinsic value at expiry is max(S − K, 0); a put's is max(K − S, 0), where K is the strike and S the underlying price. A leg's contribution is side × (intrinsic − premium) × 100 × contracts: a long leg pays its premium, a short leg collects it. The payoff at expiry adds every leg at your expiry price. Maximum profit and loss come from the payoff across every possible expiry price: the calculator evaluates the payoff at each strike and at zero, and where it keeps rising or falling past the last strike it reports Unlimited. Break-evens are the expiry prices where the payoff is exactly zero.
If a spread costs more than its best payoff, the maximum profit is a loss, and the calculator words it as one. Commissions and fees are not included.
Build this as your own app
Give Younna the spreads you hold in your options book, with their strikes, premiums and contracts. It builds a personal app that redraws each position's payoff as the underlying moves and tells you when one nears its break-even or its maximum loss.
Younna never places trades.
