Privacy notice
This notice covers the request-access form on this site, how Younna counts visits to this site, the records Younna keeps about your use of your own apps, and the analytics Younna runs with PostHog.
Who keeps your address
Younna keeps the address you enter in the form and the records below.
Why
Your address is used only to contact you about access to Younna. Your optional scan request helps us understand what you want to follow when we open access.
What is stored
Your email address, your optional first-scan request, the wording version of the consent line you saw, and the times of your request, confirmation, any admission, and any withdrawal. The network address your request comes from is not stored.
Records of your own apps
When you are signed in, Younna keeps these first-party records to count how its apps are used:
- each time you open one of your own apps, with your account, the app and the time; opens of apps you do not own are not recorded;
- each version of your apps, with its commit and the digest of its code;
- payments, refunds and disputes, read from Stripe.
No email, IP address or browser details are kept with an open. These records are not shared with any third-party analytics service.
Analytics
Younna counts how this site and sign-up are used with PostHog, which processes this data for us and stores it in the United States.
On this site, PostHog receives:
$pageviewfor each page you open, with the page's address, the page you came from, and your browser, operating system and screen size;widget_interactedwhen you change the choice on one of the example questions, with which example it was (w1tow6) and that it was changed;waitlist_submittedwhen you send the request-access form, with only its outcome: received, retry, disposable or refused. Your address is not sent, typed or hashed.
From Younna's servers, PostHog receives waitlist_confirmed when you confirm a request, access_granted when you are admitted and signed_up when you create an account. These events carry no email address. When you are admitted or create an account, PostHog also keeps your email address and whether you are invited, because that decides whether the app lets you in.
PostHog uses your IP address and browser details only to work out a value that counts you once per day. The value changes every day, and the IP address is then discarded; it is not stored with any event.
Where
The address and these records are held with Cloudflare, which hosts Younna, and Neon, which hosts its database. Analytics are held with PostHog in the United States.
How long
It is kept until access is granted or declined, or until you ask us to delete it.
Having it deleted
Ask us to delete it by writing to privacy@younna.ai.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser for analytics, which is why it shows no cookie banner.
Younna counts visits to this site itself. For each request it records the page, the time, the name of a known search or AI crawler if the request comes from one (and Cloudflare's category for that crawler), the site that linked to the page reduced to its name (for example chatgpt.com, or "other"), and any utm_source tag in the link. It does not record your IP address, your full browser details, or anything that identifies you.
These counts are held with Cloudflare for 3 months. Daily totals per page are kept in Younna's database for 25 months and then deleted.
